Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?
Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG available on PC and mobile devices. As a gacha game, understanding the pity system is crucial. This guide clarifies whether your pity counter transfers between banners.
Does Pity Carry Over?
Yes, your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will carry over to the next limited-time banner.
For instance, during the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners shared a pity counter. Pulling on either banner increased the counter for both. If you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to the Ullrid banner and still benefit from your accumulated pulls. This applies to all future limited-time banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Your progress on past limited banners will transfer to newly added ones.
Important Note: Pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner to reach near-pity and then switch to a limited banner.
Soft and Hard Pity
While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity mechanic begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually increase until you reach hard pity at 80 pulls.
In short, your pity progress on limited banners is preserved, making strategic pulls more viable. For more Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
