Morefun Studios' highly anticipated 3D action brawler, formerly known as Hitori no Shita: The Outcast, is back! Now titled The Hidden Ones, this game promises a thrilling blend of 3D combat, parkour, and intense martial arts action, slated for release in 2025. A pre-alpha test is scheduled for January.
The game, set in modern-day China, follows Zhang Chulan, a young martial artist who discovers his grandfather's fighting techniques are highly sought after. The latest gameplay trailer (see below) showcases impressive parkour sequences, energy projectile combat, and the signature 3D brawling action, also featuring secondary protagonist Wang Ye.
The Hidden Ones' darker, grittier aesthetic sets it apart from other 3D ARPGs. While not photorealistic, its grounded feel is visually striking. The game's success, however, will depend on its ability to attract players unfamiliar with the source material.
