Recently canceled Transformers: Reactivate, a co-op game unveiled by Splash Damage in 2022, resurfaces in leaked gameplay footage. The footage, from a 2020 build, showcases Bumblebee navigating a destroyed city, seamlessly transforming between robot and vehicle modes, and engaging an alien enemy force known as "the Legion." The gameplay bears resemblance to Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. While unfinished, with some missing textures and a silent cutscene depicting Bumblebee's arrival in a ravaged New York City, the footage reveals a polished game with environmental destruction. Despite the project's cancellation, the leaks offer a glimpse into the potential of this Hasbro and Takara Tomy-backed title. The footage, along with other leaks dating back to 2020, provides a look at what could have been.
