Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the challenging Garbage area. Due to its distance from your starting base, encountering traders in this region takes time.

Stalker 2 Garbage Trader Locations

Slag Heap traders in Stalker 2's Garbage area.

Initially, your quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Progressing the main storyline is necessary to officially access it. Completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks this location. This involves prior visits to the Detention Center and the Laboratory before meeting Scar.

Upon completion, the game directs you to the Slag Heap, situated north of the laboratory. However, you can explore this hub earlier. Two traders await within the Stalker 2 Garbage area:

  • Boozer: Located at the Slag Heap entrance, Boozer runs a bar, selling food and drinks while accepting various items for trade. He's easily found.

  • Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and gear. His room also houses your stash. Interacting with him initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech resides at the back of the left corridor in the Slag Heap. A conversation with Diode (essential for the main quest) necessitates meeting him.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is currently available on Xbox and PC.
