Should You Help Prochek or Olbram in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? (Mice & Frogs Quest Guide)

Choosing Prochek or Olbram:

Olbram's quest involves stealing the Zhelejov maypole, requiring nighttime stealth and potentially charming a guard. Prochek's quest requires painting Olbram's bull blue, necessitating acquiring dye from a tailor and a lullaby potion recipe (possibly from Radovan).

Prochek's quest might be slightly more challenging early in the game, particularly due to potential groschen or Speech skill requirements.

Prochek's "Mice" Quest:

Speak to Prochek in Tachov (or the innkeeper if he's unavailable). This initiates the Mice quest.

Purchase dye from Bartoshek the tailor in Troskowitz. The lullaby potion recipe requires oil, poppy, and thistle (found near the Troskowitz apothecary). Brew the potion, then in Zhelejov, use it on the bull, paint it, and report back to Prochek.

Olbram's "Frogs" Quest:

Find Olbram near the Zhelejov meadow. Agreeing to his request begins the Frogs quest, involving stealing the Tachov maypole at night.

Stealing the Maypole:

Proceed to Tachov at night. You can either knock out or charm Henrik, the guard. Charming him requires a high Speech skill. Persuade him to leave for a date with Manka (speak to her at the inn). Once he's gone, obtain the maypole. Return to Olbram, who may then request another task (chasing sheep and delivering a potion).

You can choose to complete Olbram's additional task or inform Prochek of Olbram's plans, concluding both quests.
