How Does The Terminator Event Work in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?
The Terminator event in *Black Ops 6* and *Warzone* mirrors the structure of the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event from the Holiday Season. Instead of relying on XP or challenges, this event requires players to collect a new currency called Skulls, which can be traded for rewards in the event tab. These Skulls, embodying the T-800's lethal essence and skeletal structure, drop from eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies modes, or from opening caches in Warzone.
To collect Skulls, players must walk over them after they drop. You can track your total in the pause menu or the event tab. Note that not every elimination or cache opening will yield a Skull, as their drops can be somewhat random. Keep an eye out for floating Skulls near the ground and listen for specific audio cues that signal their appearance and collection.
How to Earn Skulls Fast in The Terminator Event in Call of Duty
Given the randomness of Skull drops, the key to progressing quickly is to maximize your opportunities for eliminations and cache openings. Here are the most effective strategies for each major mode in *Call of Duty*:
- *Black Ops 6* Multiplayer: Opt for Kill Confirmed on small maps like Nuketown to increase your chances of earning Skulls.
- *Black Ops 6* Zombies: Focus on farming zombie eliminations with the Rampage Inducer enabled, particularly in the early rounds before Round 6.
- *Warzone*: Open as many chests as possible in Resurgence, with Solos mode being the most efficient.
Our testing revealed that round-based Zombies with the Rampage Inducer on early rounds yields the most Skulls per minute, followed by early matches of Resurgence in *Warzone*. However, finding unopened caches in *Warzone* becomes less frequent as the match progresses, while in Zombies, spawn rates increase with each round.
For the fastest Skull farming, target zombie eliminations in the very early rounds at Liberty Falls or The Tomb. Using GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power to enhance your weapon's capabilities can expedite the process. Be aware, though, that Skull drops can become inconsistent and slow down after you collect around your 10th Skull in a match.
