What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?
Season 4 introduces a breathtaking snowy tundra habitat. Brave knee-deep snow and icy winds as you face off against a roster of formidable monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth, along with smaller monsters such as Wulg and Cortos, also appear. Tigrex will be a major player in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these powerful creatures by completing urgent quests as you progress through the Season 4 story chapters. Complete the prologue to unlock access to the tundra.
A brand-new weapon joins the hunt: the versatile Switch Axe. This two-in-one weapon offers devastating long-range attacks in Axe Mode, quickly switching to the ferocious power of Sword Mode. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.
Customize your very own Palico companion to aid you in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur color, facial features, and give them a name as unique as you are. And for those who love augmented reality, take your custom Palico on a real-world adventure and snap some memorable photos.
Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a touch of camaraderie to your hunts. Send your friends a cheer for a temporary health boost that lasts the day. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health you can gain from cheers.
