Announced back in June 2020, with periodic updates since, skate. is finally opening its doors for PlayStation and Xbox playtesting. While a PC beta date remains unconfirmed, registering as an Insider ensures you'll be among the first to know.
While console playtesting appears to have been underway since at least September, possibly even December, according to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, developer Full Circle is actively encouraging new registrations as development continues.
To participate, visit EA's official website, navigate to the skate. page, and sign up for Skate Insider Playtesting. Besides early access to the game, Insiders will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers, upon the Early Access launch.
skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025, marking a significant return to the franchise nearly a decade after Skate 3. Available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, this free-to-play, live-service title, set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, promises an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous Full Circle YouTube interview.
