The Murderworld event has just launched in Marvel Contest of Champions, bringing a wave of excitement until August 7th! This thrilling event introduces the X-Magica Showcase, the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, and comes with a host of bug fixes and balance tweaks to enhance your gaming experience.
What Murderworld Brings to Marvel Contest of Champions
Arcade, the notorious mastermind behind deadly amusement parks, has introduced his Murderworlds into The Contest. These are not your average theme parks; they're designed to entertain and annihilate simultaneously. Arcade's ultimate goal? Achieving the highest score by taking down as many Champions as possible. Now, it's up to the heroes and villains to outsmart his deadly games or join forces to dismantle his lethal carnival.
Introducing the New Characters
Amidst the chaos, THE RAFT, the Battlerealm's top prison, is under lockdown due to a gamma radiation crisis. As the Summoner steps in to help, they meet Patriot, who finds himself in deep trouble. Meanwhile, friends and foes are falling under the mind control of The Leader, whose gamma-enhanced brain is wreaking havoc.
Mark your calendars: Patriot, aka Eli Bradley, arrives on July 18th, followed by The Leader on August 1st. Let's dive deeper into these new champions. Patriot, the grandson of the original Super Soldiers, has a legacy to uphold and co-founded the Young Avengers under the name Patriot.
On the other hand, The Leader, originally Samuel Sterns, transformed from a high school dropout working the night shift at a chemical plant into a super genius after a gamma explosion. Instead of using his intelligence for good, Samuel became The Leader, a villainous mastermind and the arch-nemesis of the Hulk.
