When it comes to iconic female fighting game characters, three names instantly come to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While fans have seen Nina and Chun-Li clash in Street Fighter x Tekken, there won't be any new interactions between them in the near future. However, excitement is building for Mai Shiranui, who is set to join the roster as a new guest character in Street Fighter 6. It's no surprise that the developers have chosen to pit Mai against the legendary Chun-Li in her gameplay trailer, showcasing the dynamic between these two powerhouse fighters.
Mai's gameplay trailer highlights several of her signature moves, and her super move is nothing short of spectacular. It's clear that Mai is poised to become a fan favorite in Street Fighter 6. Unfortunately, eager players will have to wait a bit longer as Capcom has announced that Mai won't be available until February 5. That's just three more weeks to go!
