Wuthering Waves' Version 2.1 will introduce Phoebe and Brant as the next 5-Star Rinascita characters. Initial lore suggests Phoebe, a Spectro unit, and Brant, a sword wielder, will significantly impact future updates. This follows the recent 2.0 update, featuring Carlotta (a 5-Star Glacio DPS) and Roccia (a Havoc unit).
The highly anticipated 2.0 update included a new story chapter, expanded exploration areas with the introduction of the Rinascita characters, and a premium skin for Jinhsi. A free Sanhua skin will also be available via an event starting January 23rd. Carlotta's and Zhezhi's banners run until January 23rd, followed by Roccia's banner.
Developer Kuro Games confirmed Phoebe and Brant's arrival via official Twitter announcements. Phoebe, an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep, is described as devout yet joyful. Brant, captain of the Fool's Troupe (Roccia's troupe), maintains a relaxed exterior while prioritizing his troupe's safety. While weapon types and elements remain unconfirmed, in-game appearances hint at their respective roles. Zani, previously teased, is the only remaining Rinascita character yet to be added to the playable roster. Further character reveals are anticipated within the 2.0 update cycle. Version 2.0 is slated to conclude around mid-February.
