Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their sights are now set on the Witcher series. Sora AI, a YouTube channel creator, has unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation.
The video cleverly emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging the power of neural networks. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of a Triss wedding scene, originally planned as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tackling tasks such as clearing canal monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift Geralt chooses. Less thoughtful gifts receive a lukewarm response, whereas a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional reaction.
