World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token for every 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
This automatic exchange addresses leftover tokens from the recently concluded 20th-anniversary event. Players earned these tokens through various event activities, using them to purchase items like revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens, previously exchangeable for Timewarped Badges, will now be converted automatically.
Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, making this conversion essential. The automatic process ensures players won't be left with unusable currency in their inventories.
While a specific release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's typical update schedule and considering the ongoing in-game events. This means the conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, remain valuable for future Timewalking events, providing players with a variety of rewards. Therefore, even though the conversion happens after the current Timewalking event, players retain the opportunity to utilize their newly acquired Timewarped Badges in subsequent events.
