Pokemon GO's Steely Resolve Event: Corviknight Arrives!

The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—finally debuts in Pokemon GO on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event! This exciting addition expands the game's Galar region Pokemon roster.

The arrival was initially hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The wait is over, however, with the Steely Resolve event running from 10 am on January 21st to 8 pm on January 26th (local time).

This event is packed with activities: a new Dual Destiny Special Research, Field Research tasks, increased spawns of ten Pokemon (including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink), and boosted shiny encounter chances for several species. Magnetic Lure Modules will attract specific Pokemon like Onix, Beldum, and Rookidee. Plus, a Charged TM can remove the Frustration Charged Attack from Shadow Pokemon.

• GO Battle Week: Running concurrently, this event features increased Stardust rewards, expanded daily battle limits, free battle-themed Timed Research, and varied Pokemon stats in GO Battle League rewards.

The Steely Resolve event also includes Mega Raids, One-Star and Five-Star Raids, and various other bonuses and in-game offers.
