Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 extravaganza spans three days across three iconic cities:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 - June 8
- Paris, France: June 13 - June 15
Further details are promised for March 2025. Remember, event specifics are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated!
An Unforgettable Pokémon GO Experience
Pokémon GO Fest offers trainers worldwide exclusive items, gameplay enhancements, and incredible bonuses. In-person events, requiring ticket purchase, provide unique city-specific experiences.
Prepare for rare Pokémon encounters unavailable through standard gameplay! Think along the lines of the 2024 event's Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow. Shiny Pokémon will also be more prevalent, their locations varying based on their in-game habitats.
In-person attendees can look forward to exclusive merchandise, habitat-themed goodies, community hubs, and team lounges for socializing with fellow trainers. While specifics for 2025 remain under wraps, expect a similar high-energy atmosphere to previous years.
Two More January Events: Fashion Week & Shadow Raid Day
Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two thrilling January events:
Fashion Week: Taken Over: (January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm local time)
Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni! Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12km Eggs. Other Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig will appear, and you might even spot a fashionably dressed Croagunk during snapshots!
Shadow Raid Day: (January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm local time)
Challenge Five-Star Shadow Raids to capture Shadow Ho-Oh! A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, boosted Rare Candy XL odds, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raid Battles. Shiny Ho-Oh will be more common, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move Sacred Fire using a Charged TM.
