The Pocket Gamer Awards 2024 winners are in! Following two months of nominations and voting, the results are finally here. While many anticipated winners took top spots, there were also some delightful surprises among the public's choices.
This year's awards showcase the remarkable growth of the mobile gaming industry. The sheer volume and quality of entries reflect a significant milestone, a far cry from our inaugural awards in 2010 where reader choice was a single category.
Having witnessed the entire process from the October nominations, it's been an incredible journey. The success isn't just about the impressive number of votes received, but also the feeling that, for the first time, the winners truly represent the breadth and depth of the mobile gaming landscape.
The list boasts a diverse range of developers, from global giants like NetEase (with their Sony IP: Destiny), Tencent-backed SuperCell, and Scopely, to established publishers such as Konami and Bandai Namco, and beloved indie studios like Rusty Lake and Emoak. The year also saw a significant rise in high-quality ports, with several excellent titles making the successful transition from other platforms to mobile, earning well-deserved recognition.
Let's get to the winners!
