KonoSuba: Fantastic Days to bid farewell on January 30th, 2025. After almost five years, this popular RPG from Sesisoft is shutting down its global and Japanese servers simultaneously. However, there's a glimmer of hope for fans.
Developers are planning a limited offline version, preserving the main storyline, key quests, and events for players to revisit and relive their KonoSuba: Fantastic Days memories. Further details regarding this offline version are yet to be revealed.
Refunds and In-App Purchases:
The official channels will close on February 28th, 2025, and in-app purchases have been disabled since October 31st, 2024. Players can still utilize existing Quartz and in-game items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025.
A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days:
Launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game adaptation of the beloved KonoSuba franchise. The game featured an engaging storyline set in a world threatened by the Devil King's army, charming storytelling, and visually appealing graphics with a VN-style story mode.
Unfortunately, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days shares the fate of many gacha RPGs, succumbing to the challenges of maintaining player engagement and managing the high costs associated with ongoing development.
With only a few months remaining, now's your chance to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days before the servers go offline. Download it from the Google Play Store. Don't forget to check out our coverage of Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP battles!
