Rockstar Games released the highly anticipated Bottom Dollar Bounties update for Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online) across all platforms (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC). This major summer update, arriving alongside patch 1.69 for GTA 5, delivers a wealth of new content for GTA Online's dedicated player base.
Despite its age (nearly a decade old!), GTA Online remains a massively popular multiplayer game. Rockstar typically releases two significant updates annually, one in summer and one in winter. Interestingly, player engagement has remained strong, even with the announced launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 in Fall 2025. The Bottom Dollar Bounties update demonstrates Rockstar's continued commitment to supporting GTA Online, with the possibility of another DLC drop before the year's end.
The June-announced update reintroduces Maude Eccles from GTA 5's single-player mode, along with her daughter, Jenette. Players become the lead bounty hunter for the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement business, undertaking thrilling bounty hunting missions. The update also features three new law enforcement vehicles used in new Dispatch Work missions for LSPD officer Vincent Effenburger.
Bottom Dollar Bounties: New Missions, Vehicles, and Enhanced Rewards
The update includes new drift upgrades for select vehicles and provides Rockstar Creator users with fresh tools and props. Significantly, several in-game activities now offer increased base payouts: Open Wheel Races, Taxi Work, A Superyacht Life, Lowriders Missions, Operation Paper Trail, Casino Story Missions, Gerald’s Last Play, Madrazo’s Dispatch Services, Premium Deluxe Repo Work, and Project Overthrow. Solo players also enjoy extended timers during Gunrunning and Biker Sell Missions. Nine new vehicles join the lineup:
- Enus Paragon S (Sports) – Featuring Imani Tech
- Bollokan Envisage (Sports) – Featuring Imani Tech
- Übermacht Niobe (Sports) – With HSW Upgrade (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S only)
- Annis Euros X32 (Coupe) – With HSW Upgrade (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S only)

Bottom Dollar Bounties delivers substantial new content to GTA Online, and the boosted rewards for existing activities provide a strong incentive for players to return. Given the game's continued success, the long-term support strategy from Rockstar, and how they will integrate GTA Online with the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, remains to be seen.
