Final Fantasy XIV offers a Free Login Campaign! From January 9th to February 6th, 2025, eligible players with inactive accounts can enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay. This opportunity coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, featuring new side quests and the continuation of the popular Hildibrand storyline.
This free access period is available across all platforms: PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The four-day timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility is confirmed through the Mog Station, requiring an inactive account for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended for violating terms of service are excluded.
Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message confirmed upcoming Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, alongside smaller updates. He also hinted at the direction of the Dawntrail main storyline, sparking player speculation.
The campaign, running until February 6th (9:59 AM Eastern), allows players to catch up on Dawntrail content before the release of Patch 7.2. The current Heavensturn event (until January 16th) offers a minion reward, and Patch 7.16 arrives on January 21st, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series. Square Enix encourages players to verify their eligibility on the Mog Station.
