Understanding Doctor Doom 2099
Doctor Doom 2099 is a 4-cost, 2-power card with a unique ability: After each turn, if you played exactly one card, a DoomBot 2099 is added to a random location. These DoomBot 2099s (also 4-cost, 2-power) provide an ongoing +1 power buff to all other DoomBots and Doctor Doom cards on the board. This synergy extends to the regular Doctor Doom card as well.
The key is playing precisely one card per turn after summoning Doom 2099. Early placement of Doom 2099, potentially using cards like Psylocke, can lead to three DoomBot 2099s, significantly boosting power. However, the random placement of DoomBots is a weakness, potentially handing locations to your opponent. Furthermore, Enchantress completely negates the DoomBot buff.
