A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to apply Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos to Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, is a temporary solution, as it's an unofficial method subject to removal in future updates.
This exploit requires a second player. The process begins in a private Warzone match. One player equips a BO6 weapon in their first loadout slot, while their friend joins the lobby. The second player then equips an MW3 weapon and rapidly selects the desired camo while the host switches to a private match. The friend then leaves the match, and the first player repeats the camo selection process as the friend rejoins. If successful, the MW3 camo will now be applied to the BO6 weapon.
Many players consider this a desirable feature, as BO6 meta weapons currently lack the MW3 mastery camos many players have already painstakingly unlocked. The grind for BO6's mastery camos, including Dark Matter, is significant, involving numerous weapon-specific challenges. This glitch provides a shortcut for those who have already completed the camo challenges in MW3.
Treyarch Studios has acknowledged player feedback and confirmed the addition of an in-game challenge tracking system for BO6 in a future update, a feature present in MW3 but absent from BO6's initial release. This update should improve the camo unlock experience for players who prefer to earn their camos legitimately.
