Application Description

The DETECTIVE board game app enhances the classic game experience using smartphones or tablets. This app requires the physical DETECTIVE board game (available at www.estrela.com.br). The app adds dynamism and intrigue, transforming the investigation into a more immersive experience.

Players deduce the killer, weapon, and location responsible for Mr. Carlos Fortuna's demise. Each round eliminates possibilities until a final accusation is made.

The app simulates realism by delivering clues via calls, texts, and videos from various witnesses. However, be warned: not all witness accounts are reliable!

The game includes 8 suspects, 8 weapons, and 11 locations.

Game Modes:

Board Mode (Coming Soon): The app complements the board game, providing additional hints. Players (3-8) select characters (Sergeant Mustagode, Serious Marinheiro, Miss Rosa, Sergio Soturno, Dona Branca, Tony Gourmet, Dona Violet, and Butler James). Three cards (murderer, weapon, location) are scanned using QR codes. While playing, the app may trigger calls from anonymous witnesses offering clues. (Note: Voice calls are mobile-only).
Notepad Mode: Digitally record suspects, weapons, and locations for streamlined investigation.
