Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an immersive real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that delivers intense real-time competitive (PvP) gameplay. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join in a battle royale where every decision counts. Players enjoy a high degree of control over an array of units and buildings, allowing for strategic depth and dynamic gameplay.

The game intricately simulates 18 powerful Empires from the medieval ages, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, and Maya, among others. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and a unique unit that sets it apart. Regular units are consistent across all Empires, while unique units, such as Mongolia's Riders, Persia's War Elephants, and Spain's Conquistadors, add a layer of diversity and strategy.

Regular units include:

  • Swordsman: A common but versatile unit.
  • Pikeman: Effective against Cavalry but susceptible to arrows.
  • Archers: Strong against Pikemen but vulnerable to Cavalry.
  • Light Cavalry: Known for speed and mobility, ideal for harassment.
  • Aries: Specialized in attacking buildings.

Buildings in WOE include:

  • Tower: Primarily offensive, capable of launching 6 arrows at once when manned by 5 farmers.
  • Turret: Specialized in demolishing enemy structures.

Each Empire in WOE comes with its own strengths and weaknesses, encouraging players to explore the detailed in-game introductions. Here are brief overviews of some Empires:

  • Huns: No need for house construction, saving time. Cavalry is 20% cheaper and can upgrade to Rangers.
  • Teutonic: Boasts powerful warriors reminiscent of historical Spartans, though they move slowly.

The core of WOE's gameplay revolves around multitasking critical objectives:

  • Develop Economy: Maximizing farmer production and resource collection is essential. Structures like the Town Center (TC) and Towers serve as temporary shelters for farmers.
  • Harass Enemies: Early game, small units can be trained to disrupt enemy resource gathering, building an advantage.
  • Destroy Enemies: Engage in direct combat to dismantle enemy forces and structures.

Teamwork and understanding unit dynamics are crucial. Players must master unit counterplay:

  • Pikemen counter Cavalry.
  • Cavalry counter Archers.
  • Archers counter Pikemen.
  • Slaves on camels counter Cavalry.
  • Koryo Carriages counter all ranged units.

WOE features two key resources: Food and Gold. As players progress, the TC can be upgraded from the dark ages through to the emperor era, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units.

To cater to different play styles, WOE offers various game modes:

  • Normal Mode: Focuses on resource management and early harassment, offering a complex yet engaging experience.
  • Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Players start in the emperor era with ample resources, enabling immediate high-intensity battles.

Having been available for 4 years in China, WOE has evolved through numerous updates to version 1.8.n. Key features include:

  • Player vs. CPU battles.
  • Network play for multiplayer engagement.
  • Spectator mode for observing matches.
  • Replay functionality to review and learn from past games.
  • Map creation tools for custom scenarios.
  • Legion system for organized group play.
  • Friend lists for social connectivity.
  • Chat features for communication.

WOE offers a rich, strategic RTS experience that challenges players to master resource management, unit control, and tactical combat in a competitive PvP environment.
