Bluepoch Games' time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999, is celebrating its first anniversary with a massive Version 1.9 update, aptly titled "Vereinsamt" (German for "lonely"). This update includes a generous gift for players: Semmelweis, a free 6-star character, obtainable simply by logging in during the event. Additionally, players can acquire 30 free pulls.
The update also introduces Lucy, a captivating 6-star DPS character. Inspired by Metropolis, Lucy, despite her robotic appearance, is an Awakened arcanist with a connection to a Watt steam engine prototype and a passion for scientific advancement. She's available via the limited-time "Thoughts in Cylinder" banner.
Returning characters include the 5-star Matilda and Kakania (first seen in Version 1.7), summonable in the "Observation into the Mirrors" banner starting October 10th.

Reverse: 1999's anniversary festivities extend beyond character additions. A new rogue-like mode, "A Series of Dusks," offers players the chance to earn Lorelei, a new 5-star character, and other rewards. Collaborations are also in the works with Discovery (providing new outfits for Tooth Fairy and Getian) and KOI (releasing limited-edition merchandise starting in October).
Version 1.9 ushers in the game's first unique garment: Regulus's "Take Off! To the Future" outfit, complete with new Ultimates and other enhancements. Further outfit additions are planned for Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto.
