Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock is making its way to mobile devices! The game, which was released on PC in 2023 by Pathea Games, is the much-anticipated sequel to 2019's My Time at Portia. On Steam, it's published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment, while the upcoming mobile beta test in China is being managed by Conscience Studio.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first-ever mobile test for My Time at Sandrock. The developers are treating it as a technical trial to assess how well the game adapts to the mobile platform. They're currently fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should be prepared for some initial hiccups.
The beta test is exclusively for Android users in China and will be conducted through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're in China and interested, you can apply until January 22nd. The test itself begins on January 23rd. Keep in mind that your progress will be reset at the end of the test, but you'll have the chance to explore the first 30 days of in-game content, covering the initial 13 chapters. For more details and to apply, visit the official beta test page.
What’s the Story?
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the Day of Calamity, which obliterated modern technologies, My Time at Sandrock places you in the role of the town's newest Builder. Your journey involves gathering resources, crafting machines, befriending the local inhabitants, and even facing off against monsters. The game's art style is uniquely charming and quirky, as you can see in the trailer below:
