If you're eager to showcase your tennis prowess in the virtual arena, Tennis Clash, developed by Wildlife Studios, is your chance to shine. Boasting an impressive five million monthly players and over 170 million downloads, this esports sensation is set to host the 2025 Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault, organized by the French Tennis Federation (FFT). This tournament offers players the opportunity to qualify for a spot in the Final Stage in Paris, where a thrilling showdown awaits the top 8 competitors on May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum auditorium, following three qualifying stages in March and April.
Supported by event partners Renault and Mastercard, the event promises an immersive experience. Internationally renowned French referee Aurélie Tourte will voice all in-game announcements, while special Renault 5 Roland-Garros Series loading screens will enhance the atmosphere. A new team-based format for the Final Stage introduces a fresh twist, with each team led by a French tennis legend as their captain. Fans can enjoy the competition either as part of a live audience or via livestream on Twitch. The €5,000 prize pool will be divided between the winner and the runner-up.
Gilles Simon, a longtime commentator and now team captain, expressed his enthusiasm: "Being part of this Final Stage - whether as a consultant, player or now as a team captain - is always a huge honour for me. I am very excited about this new competition format and determined to prove to the other captain that my years of experience in the game will give my team a real advantage."
All qualifiers will have the privilege of competing at the iconic Roland-Garros venue. If you believe you have what it takes to join the ranks of tennis greats, you can register for one of the Open Qualifiers on Tennis Clash, available for free-to-play on the App Store or Google Play, with optional in-app purchases.
