At long last, EA has unveiled Battlefield Labs, offering a sneak peek at the next Battlefield game. Want to help shape the future of the franchise and gain early access to Battlefield 6? Here's how to join Battlefield Labs.
What is Battlefield Labs?
Battlefield Labs is EA's initiative to gather crucial player feedback for the next Battlefield title. This program invites select fans into the development process, offering early access to remote playtests and the opportunity to directly influence the game's direction. Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be chosen, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?
Unlike traditional betas, Battlefield Labs provides access to work-in-progress game builds. Expect more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than a typical beta. EA seeks honest feedback on combat, map design, balance, and more. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early Access
Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and sign up. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred gaming platform, and then complete the registration process. Be aware that you may encounter a queue; if so, you'll have 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives. After signing up, regularly check your email for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations.
EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in its fiscal year 2026 (before April 1, 2026).
