Netflix has unveiled the thrilling trailer for Electric State, the latest sci-fi masterpiece from Anthony and Joe Russo, the brilliant minds behind Avengers: Endgame. The trailer offers a captivating glimpse into a story that features Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, as a determined young heroine, and Chris Pratt, famous from Guardians of the Galaxy, as a mysterious wanderer.
Set in a dystopian future scarred by a devastating technological collapse, Electric State follows the harrowing journey of its protagonist as she traverses the American frontier in search of her lost brother. Accompanying her is a charming yellow robot, injecting a bit of whimsy into this otherwise somber tale. As they journey on, they cross paths with a secretive drifter whose enigmatic past might just unlock the secrets of their broken world. Drawing inspiration from Simon Stålenhag's visionary graphic novels, this film promises a blend of emotional depth and compelling mystery.
The cast is rounded out by powerhouse talents including Woody Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Billy Bob Thornton (Goliath), and Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul).
