Playing games with friends can transform the gaming experience, making it more enjoyable and collaborative. In *R.E.P.O.*, the challenge of facing tough monsters often means that squad members will need to take turns being the one in need of revival. Here’s a detailed guide on how to revive your teammates in *R.E.P.O.* after they've been taken down by the game's formidable creatures.
What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.
When you start a round in *R.E.P.O.*, your health is set at 100. You can lose health due to attacks from monsters or even from your own items like Human Grenades. To recover, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by approaching another player and interacting with their health bar—a unique feature that enhances teamwork and should be more widely adopted in other games.
Despite these options, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes overpower your squad, leading to a teammate's demise. When this happens, you have two revival options. The first method involves picking up the fallen teammate's head, which drops to the ground upon death. You can locate the head either by remembering where your ally fell or by checking the map, where a small icon in the color of their character indicates its position. Collecting the head is just the beginning of the revival process.
Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.
Once you have the head in your inventory, proceed to the extraction point. Place the head on the extraction point, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (which you can check at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to gain additional health, ensuring they're not a liability to the squad. After revival, it's back to business as usual.
If retrieving the head proves impossible, there's another way to bring your teammates back: start a new round. Similar to *Call of Duty* Zombies, *R.E.P.O.* allows dead players to return at the beginning of a new round. While this method leaves you at a disadvantage for the rest of the current round, it can be beneficial, especially for new players who need time to observe and learn from more experienced teammates.
