Flat2VR Studios is bringing the iconic, over-the-top mayhem of Postal 2 to virtual reality. Twenty-two years after its initial release, this trash-talking shooter is getting a VR makeover, as showcased in a recently released debut trailer.
The trailer follows the Dude on his signature errand-running adventures, this time punctuated with the added chaos of VR. Flat2VR highlights key VR improvements, including a redesigned shooting mechanic optimized for VR controllers, a revamped user interface, and a refreshed mini-map system.
A Steam page is now live, offering a glimpse into the game's updated visuals, system requirements, and other details. PC players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers are absent, subtitles will be included.
Despite the modern upgrades, the core Postal 2 experience remains intact. Players still tackle mundane tasks like grocery shopping and library book returns, but the freedom to descend into utter chaos is, as always, readily available.
Postal 2 VR will launch on SteamVR, PS VR2, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3.
