Prismatic Evolutions, announced in early November 2024 with pre-orders opening shortly after, is set for an international release on January 17, 2025. The set aims to kick off the new year with a bang for Pokemon TCG enthusiasts. However, it has faced significant shortages globally, including in the United States, leading to widespread fan frustration.

In response to weeks of complaints on social media, The Pokemon Company released a statement acknowledging the difficulties in obtaining some of their upcoming products. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokemon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," a company representative told IGN.

Pokemon TCG Prismatic Evolutions Reprints Are Coming Soon

The Pokemon Company also announced that additional Prismatic Evolutions products will be available in the coming months. These include:

• A Mini Tin and Surprise Box, set to launch on February 7, 2025.
• A Booster Bundle and Accessory Pouch Special Collection, scheduled for March 7 and April 25, 2025, respectively.
• A Super-Premium Collection, arriving on May 16, 2025.
• A Premium Figure Collection, planned for September 26, 2025.

Fans eager to get their hands on the new cards can also participate in the Pokemon TCG Live mobile game's Battle Pass, which will start distributing Prismatic Evolutions cards from January 16, 2025.
