Eleven Puzzles' cooperative puzzle game, Parallel Experiment, has been delayed. Initially slated for a March Steam release, the game will now launch on June 5th across Steam, Android, and iOS platforms. This simultaneous release will include cross-play functionality from day one.
The delay allowed the developers to retain all planned features, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, initially considered for removal to meet the earlier deadline. Players will assume the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, working together to solve a series of interconnected puzzles set within a noir-inspired, comic book-styled world, all orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer.
The game boasts over 80 challenges, ranging from deciphering codes and manipulating water systems to computer hacking and even dealing with an intoxicated individual. Beyond the core puzzle-solving, players can engage in cooperative retro-style mini-games like darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles. Dynamic interactive dialogues with NPCs add depth to the narrative, and the ability to playfully annoy your partner adds a layer of lighthearted interaction.
Parallel Experiment offers significantly expanded content compared to the developer's previous title, promising a richer cooperative gameplay experience. For more details, visit the Steam page. In the meantime, explore our list of the best iOS puzzle games!
