Nintendo's long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been unveiled, though a comprehensive reveal is slated for a Nintendo Direct on April 2nd, 2025. A brief teaser confirmed the new console alongside a new Mario Kart title.

The official announcement, while scarce on specifics, showcased the console's design and redesigned Joy-Cons. As numerous leaks predicted, the Switch 2 boasts a larger form factor and enhanced specifications compared to its predecessor.

European events are scheduled for Paris (April 4-6), London (April 11-13), Milan (April 25-27), Berlin (April 25-27), Madrid (May 9-11), and Amsterdam (May 9-11). Additional events will be held in Melbourne (May 10-11), Tokyo (April 26-27), Seoul (May 31-June 1), and Hong Kong/Taipei at later dates.
