A New Hub For Hunters

---------------------

The showcase kicked off with an exciting reveal of the new endgame hub for hunting parties, aptly named the Grand Hub. This expansive new area is brimming with activities, from communal feasting and arm wrestling to enjoying nightly performances by the Diva. There's also a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game, where you can earn vouchers and other rewards through various in-game activities. Unlocking the Grand Hub is straightforward—reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak with Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.

Mizutsune Arrives

---------------------

A major highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the graceful yet deadly Mizutsune. This bubbly beast boasts swift tail strikes and powerful water jets, ready to challenge even the most seasoned hunters. To face Mizutsune, you'll need to reach Hunter Rank 21 or above, then head to the Scarlet Forest and speak with Kanya to initiate the quest. Successful hunters can look forward to crafting new gear from this formidable foe.

Additional Hunts on the Way

-----------------------

A thrilling Event Quest will introduce Arch-tempered Rey Dau to Monster Hunter Wilds, offering a step up in difficulty from standard Tempered fights. To take on this challenge, you must be at least Hunter Rank 50, with new armor awaiting those who triumph. Additionally, Zoh Shia, previously a one-time story encounter, will now have repeatable quests available after reaching Hunter Rank 50, allowing you to craft new armor from this formidable adversary.

Arena Quests

--------------------

Speedrun enthusiasts will find their niche with the introduction of Arena Quests, where hunters can vie for the fastest clear times. Both Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will be accessible through the counter in the new Grand Hub, with pendants awarded for participation and achievement.

Change Alma's Outfit

--------------------

Alma, the dedicated handler, is finally getting some much-needed style options. Players can now customize her attire via an appearance menu in camp, with one new outfit available for free. Completing a specific side mission will also unlock the ability to change Alma's glasses, adding a personal touch to your hunting experience.

More DLC is on the Way

----------------------

Accompanying Title Update 1, a mix of free and paid DLC will be available. Some fan-favorite gestures from previous Monster Hunter titles will be freely accessible in the store, while others, such as those included in the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1, can be purchased or are included with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition. Expect new stickers, additional looks for Alma, and more exciting content.

More Event Quests and Seasonal Events

---------------------

Get ready for more Event Quests and the introduction of Seasonal Events, which will transform the Grand Hub's appearance and menu offerings. During these events, you can acquire limited equipment, gestures, decorations, and other unique items. The first Seasonal Event, the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, kicks off on April 23, featuring stunning pink cherry blossoms and new decor. Capcom has also confirmed the return of most previous events and Event Quests in the future.

The Roadmap Ahead

--------------------

Here's a glimpse into the upcoming content rollout following Title Update 1. U.S. players will see the update on April 3, with the Blossomdance starting on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau arrives on April 29, and by the end of May, additional features and a Capcom collaboration are set to debut.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2

--------------------

The showcase concluded with a sneak peek at Title Update 2, slated for a summer release. While no specific date was given, a teaser image hinted at the possible return of the iconic Lagiacrus, the underwater leviathan, who appears to be wreaking havoc on the surface. This update promises to keep the momentum going for Monster Hunter Wilds, which has already seen significant success since its launch.
