Many dungeons in Metaphor: ReFantazio feature formidable mini-bosses before the final encounter. Even while grinding for XP, these enemies, often highlighted red in the overworld Fairy Sight, necessitate squad combat. The Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example—an incredibly challenging foe demanding strategic prowess and a bit of luck.
Faithwight Magileto Weakness & Skills In Metaphor: ReFantazio
This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making battles below level 45 ill-advised. The Faithwight Magileto unleashes devastating dark and light magic, both single-target and AoE (Megidolaon). Passive buffs amplify these attacks. Furthermore, Soul Scream grants it four Press Turn icons, and it can summon level 50 skeletons.
These summoned skeletons wield powerful slashing attacks and dark magic, boasting potent buffs and access to exceptional healing spells, often restoring the Magileto to full health. Their weakness to Strike attacks underscores the importance of focusing on this element.
How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Even at level 50, this fight is brutally difficult; below that level, it's nearly impossible. To improve your chances:
- Acquire Dark Dodge from the Magic Knight.
- Acquire Light Dodge from the Healer Archetype.
- Skill Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype.
- Utilize the Warlock Archetype's resistance to Dark and Light damage.
- Leverage the Thief Archetype's Dark damage resistance.
- Carry Tetrabreak to counter enemy Tetrakarn.
Archetype selection is less critical than maximizing the above points and avoiding weaknesses to Dark, Light, or Slash. With numerous Archetypes unlocked, prioritize Strength-focused Archetypes and Skill Inheritance. Equip at least two party members with party-wide healing spells, and focus on Strike attacks to maximize Press Turn Icons and mitigate damage.
Expect some unavoidable luck; consecutive Megidolaons are often survivable only with exceptional circumstances. Prioritizing Dark and Light Dodge for most party members helps end enemy turns swiftly. Eliminate summoned allies before they heal the Magileto. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide healing spells per turn.
