Pokémon Center Hiroshima will close its current location at the end of March and is scheduled to relocate and reopen around April 2025. The new home for this beloved store will be on the second floor of Ekie, situated at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Since its inception in June 2015, Pokémon Center Hiroshima has been a fixture on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, nestled next to the RIHGA Royal Hotel and facing the Hiroshima Prefectural Office.
In a thrilling development, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open its doors on March 24, 2025, at the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. The Pokémon website describes this unique space as "a plaza where people of all ages can enjoy time with Pokémon in their own way, featuring large play equipment modeled after Gyarados, the iconic Pokémon of Pokémon Center Hiroshima."
To ensure a smooth experience, visitors will need to make advance reservations for the playground equipment for a temporary period following its launch. Keep an eye on the official Minamoa website for further details.
If you're planning a visit to Hiroshima, the Pokémon Center is open daily from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm.
