Suzerain, the acclaimed narrative government simulation game, is gearing up to celebrate its 4th anniversary in a unique way. Instead of sticking to traditional celebrations, Torpor Games has announced a major mobile relaunch of Suzerain, set for December 11th, 2024. This game, which lets you take the helm of a nation, navigate complex political landscapes, and make tough decisions, was initially released on Android in December 2022. In Suzerain, you step into the shoes of the president of Sordland, a fictional country, and now, with the relaunch, the experience is set to expand significantly.
The Kingdom of Rizia Joins the Fray
With the relaunch, mobile players will now have access to the full narrative content that PC players enjoy. This includes the opportunity to delve into the political intricacies of both the Republic of Sordland and the newly introduced Kingdom of Rizia. This expansion broadens the gameplay, offering a richer, more immersive experience.
Two exciting features are being introduced with the relaunch: Political Influence Levels and Story Points. These additions allow players to progress more quickly by earning XP through daily challenges and achievements. The higher your level, the greater the rewards, making it easier to unlock more story content. Additionally, a new cloud save system will ensure your decisions and progress are safely stored on mobile devices, although cross-platform saves are not available at this time. The pricing for the story packs is set at $19.99 for The Republic of Sordland and $14.99 for The Kingdom of Rizia.
Suzerain is adopting a new freemium model, allowing players to start playing for free by watching ads and earning Story Points. For those who prefer an ad-free experience, premium story packs can be purchased. Subscription options are also available, ranging from daily to monthly plans, with a Lifetime Pass offering permanent, ad-free access to all content.
Mark your calendars for the Suzerain mobile relaunch on December 11th at 7 PM CET. Be sure to check it out on the Google Play Store.
