GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, with DRM-free PC re-releases. Both titles, originally released on PlayStation, are now available on GOG's platform as part of their Preservation Program, ensuring the original content remains untouched.
Capcom's Dino Crisis 3, an Xbox exclusive, remains the last entry in the series, despite fan calls for a new game or HD remake. The release of Exoprimal, a multiplayer dinosaur-themed action game, and comments from Dino Crisis creator Shinji Mikami seemingly sealed the fate of a potential reboot.
These PC ports, previously difficult to run on modern systems, are now fully compatible with Windows 10 and 11, thanks to GOG's enhancements. GOG highlights the improved experience, stating Regina's iconic line, "You're extinct!", no longer applies to the games themselves.
