The objective in Frike is simple: survival. You control a floating triangle segmented into purple, orange, and green. Left-side buttons control ascent and descent; a right-side button rotates the triangle.
Frike features a single, infinite level. This seemingly limited scope is deceptive, as the gameplay unfolds endlessly. The game world, a moody, abstract landscape, is populated with colored blocks (white, purple, orange, green). Scoring involves aligning your triangle's corners with matching colored blocks. Colliding with mismatched or white blocks results in an explosion. Strategically placed blocks offer bonus effects, slowing your descent for easier alignment.
