The Taipei Game Show 2025 was a major success for Etheria: Restart, attracting thousands of enthusiastic fans and breaking records set by previous betas. The event was packed with exclusive content, live competitions, and hands-on previews, offering attendees a comprehensive gaming experience.
At the Etheria: Restart booth, participants were immersed in a variety of activities, including in-game challenges, cosplay appearances, and the chance to snag exclusive merchandise. Fans eagerly participated in contests for limited-edition collectibles, with a few fortunate attendees walking away with a PS5 Pro.
On January 24th and 25th, the excitement reached new heights when popular streamer Akaoni took the stage. Akaoni engaged the audience with live battles, challenge events, and fan interactions, leaving attendees with signed photos as mementos.
The closed beta test of Etheria: Restart set impressive milestones, with over 900,000 summons recorded. Characters like Massiah, Tiamat, and Hoyan were the most sought-after, while Hyperlinker Tianyu Rin achieved the remarkable feat of collecting every single character.
In terms of player progression, the average level reached was around 35, but Lulu set a new standard by reaching level 66. The Peak Arena saw 82 competitors vying for top spots, with Fried Bun emerging as the leading Hyperlinker in both PvP modes. Additionally, guild Qiyan City achieved the highest single-damage output during the event's most challenging battle.
The new boss fight against NicoNana was a standout feature of the test, with over 24,000 attempts recorded. This encounter pushed teams to refine their strategies and test their limits.
