Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, an eagerly anticipated first-person single-player action-adventure game, drawing inspiration from the 2023 sensation, Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will navigate their trawler through the haunting waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands, engaging in fishing, exploration, monster combat, crafting, and boat upgrades while unraveling the mysteries that lie beneath the surface. Currently in development for PC, you can get a glimpse of what's to come by watching the announcement trailer and browsing through the initial screenshots in the gallery below.
Dream Dock paints a vivid picture of Dreadmoor: "Take command of a fishing trawler and embark on a journey into a world transformed by global nuclear war. Where continents once stood, now lie scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. As you navigate these treacherous waters, sell your catch to survivors, undertake quests, and edge closer to survival. Be vigilant—your ship's cargo hold could become a battleground for creatures. Enhance your vessel and craft essential equipment to delve into the hidden depths and uncover secret locales. The Drownlands teem with mutated beings and dark secrets, particularly at night. Radiation poses an ever-present threat, making every voyage fraught with danger..."
