The Currency Exchange is a pivotal feature in Path of Exile 2, enabling players to convert their lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones for trading or crafting. The only reliable method to stay updated on these rates is by checking them directly within the game.

How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2

To access the Currency Exchange, engage with the gambling vendor in any Act once you've reached Cruel Difficulty. Upon opening the Currency Exchange menu, you'll notice two boxes designated for Currencies.

Begin by clicking the left box and selecting the Currency you're interested in obtaining or the one you wish to exchange your current Currencies for. For instance, if you're looking to check the current price of a Divine Orb, click on the left item tab and choose the Divine Orb from the available list.

Next, navigate to the right item tab on the Currency Exchange menu to view a list of your available Currencies, which includes items from your Inventory and Stashes. Continuing with the example, to determine the price of a Divine Orb in terms of Exalted Orbs, you should select Exalted Orb from your list of available Currencies in your Stash.

The conversion ratio between your chosen Currencies will be displayed centrally between the two item selection boxes. To acquire a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the number of Exalted Orbs indicated on the right-hand side of the ratio.

This system is bidirectional. If you're in possession of a Divine Orb and wish to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.

It's important to note that the Currency Exchange rates are in constant flux, meaning the value of one Currency against another can change significantly within a short period. Regularly checking these rates while playing can help you snag a favorable deal on a high-value Currency item.

If a particular Currency combination isn't available for exchange (e.g., Divine Orb for Scrolls of Wisdom), no ratio will be shown, and the exchange cannot be completed.
