The Kabukimono

Your journey to confront the Kabukimono begins in the Settsu region. After meeting the benevolent priest, Shin’nyo, you'll be tasked with hunting down these rogue ronin to prevent further chaos in the area. The Kabukimono are a band of flamboyant ronin who operate without any regard for the law, causing harm and disruption wherever they go. It's up to the assassins to intervene and restore peace to the region.

There are eight distinct targets within the Kabukimono faction that you must eliminate.

Ghost General

The Ghost General, a leader of the ravenous Hungry Ghosts gang, can be found in the city of Sakai in the southwestern part of the Izumi Settsu region. Head to the western part of the city to the Money Changer District. Given the number of ronin you'll encounter, it's wise to take them out one by one or use Yasuke’s abilities to level the playing field.

Grave Dancer

The Grave Dancer, leader of the Defilers, is located near the Sumiyoshi Shrine, south of Osaka. From Sakai, travel northeast along the main road until you reach the shrine. You'll find him among the graves, desecrating the sacred ground. Dispatch him to the afterlife using your Hidden Blade or any preferred weapon.

Ember

The Ember, who leads the Firebrands, can be found north of Sakai in Osaka's Fishermen’s District. Look for the burned-down buildings north of the district; this is where you'll confront the pyromaniac. Clear out any other combatants first to focus on extinguishing his threat and saving the community from further harm.

Big Sueki

Big Sueki, leader of a gang of sake-loving ronin, is located in Muko Post Town, just north of Amagasaki Castle in the western part of Izumi Settsu. Find him near the moat, using the surrounding bamboo and thickets to approach stealthily and end his revelry.

Chief Cuckoo

The Chief Cuckoo and his fallen samurai can be found in the city of Katano, centrally located in Izumi Settsu. Head to the southern edge of the town to the Katano Oil Trading location. Utilize the environment to your advantage and bring a swift, explosive end to his tyranny.

Corrupt Blade/Laughing Man/Peacock

After dealing with the other members, you'll face the final three: Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock. Head to the Nishinomiya Shrine west of Amagasaki Castle. At the entrance, you can choose to confront them one at a time or gather them all in one location. Opting for the latter will lead you to the Harima region.

From the shrine, travel west to Kakogawa Estuary, then ride northeast along the roads to reach Takagi Otsuka Fort. Head east from the fort to find the trio in a courtyard next to a medium-sized hut. This battle will be challenging, but you can use the surrounding NPCs to distract them, allowing you to strike strategically. Eliminate all three to completely eradicate the Kabukimono threat.
