Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for its highly anticipated Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, showcasing the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the beloved Netflix series. Set to premiere on March 4, the show brings back familiar faces, including Vincent D'Onofrio as the formidable Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) and Jon Bernthal as the relentless Frank Castle (Punisher).
The trailer teases a thrilling reunion of these iconic characters, set against the backdrop of intense and brutal action sequences. Daredevil, portrayed by Cox, is seen in peak form, battling the criminal elements that plague New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.
In an intriguing twist, the series introduces a new dynamic where Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk form an unlikely alliance to confront a chilling new threat: the artistically inclined serial killer known as Muse. The trailer offers a glimpse of Muse, sporting his signature bleeding eye white mask, adding a layer of menace to the narrative. Muse, a relatively recent addition to Daredevil's rogues gallery, was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney, making his debut in 2016's Daredevil #11.
Additionally, fans are treated to a brief first look at Wilson Bethel reprising his role as Bullseye, another notorious Daredevil villain. Bethel, who played Benjamin Poindexter in Season 3 of the Netflix series, appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes, bringing depth and tragedy to the character's origin story. Originally introduced in 1976's Daredevil #131, Bullseye's character was reimagined in the Netflix series, and viewers are eager to see how his story will evolve in Daredevil: Born Again.
