Want to fine-tune your controls in *Hyper Light Breaker*? In a game demanding lightning-fast reflexes, precise control is key. Unfortunately, there's currently no in-game sensitivity setting. This is a known issue the developers, Heart Machine, are actively addressing, with plans to include a fix in a future update. They've announced this on Bluesky, promising improvements to performance and accessibility alongside sensitivity adjustments.
While waiting for the official update is recommended, there are workarounds:
Mouse and Keyboard Users: The simplest solution is adjusting your mouse DPI. Increase the DPI in your mouse's hardware or software settings to effectively boost in-game sensitivity. Remember, this affects your overall system mouse sensitivity.
Controller Users (DS4): If using a DS4 controller, you can modify the joystick sensitivity within the DS4 software. This adjusted sensitivity will translate to *Hyper Light Breaker*. Alternatively, configure your right joystick as a mouse and adjust sensitivity as described above.
Advanced Method (Steam Forums): For those comfortable with file editing, a Steam forum post by user ErkBirk details a method involving direct file manipulation via the Windows Run Command.
