The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The film continues the story of Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life by making a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This deal grants him the unique ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into the world of devil hunting and beyond as he evolves into more than just a Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the new character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. The film is helmed by director Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko. The entire voice cast from the anime series will return to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and familiarity for fans.
