Berserker and Lumberghost Join Clash Royale in Lumber Love Season

Supercell has unveiled the exciting Lumber Love season in Clash Royale, bringing a wave of fresh content that promises to elevate the game's fast-paced combat and strategic depth. This season introduces a new card, an evolution, a series of limited-time events, and the much-anticipated return of the 2v2 Ladder.

Leading the charge is the new 2-Elixir troop, Berserker. This unique card stands out from other low-cost options like Bats or Goblins by fighting solo. While she trades higher damage for increased durability, making her resilient against spells that typically decimate swarm troops, she may struggle in direct confrontations with more robust melee units. Complementing the Berserker is the Lumberjack Evolution, marking the second Legendary Evolution in Clash Royale. This evolution adds a fascinating twist to the game: upon defeat, the Lumberjack transforms into an invisible ghost, but only while under the influence of his Rage effect. Dubbed the Lumberghost, this evolved form can deal significant damage to towers with his rapid attacks. However, he's not invincible; certain spells can reveal him, and he can be easily distracted by troops or buildings outside his Rage zone.

The Lumber Love season is packed with events and challenges throughout February. It kicks off with Super Touchdown from February 3rd-10th, followed by the Power of Love event (February 10th-17th), where troops can switch allegiances mid-battle, adding a new layer of strategy. Runic Rampage (February 17th-24th) will spotlight the Berserker and Rune Giant combo, while the Lumberjack Evolution Draft Challenge (February 24th-March 3rd) offers players a chance to experiment with the new Evolution. Each event comes with its own set of rewards, including banner decorations and frames.

Additionally, the beloved 2v2 Ladder makes its comeback from February 10th-24th. In a notable change, the 100 Crowns boost has been removed from the Diamond Pass in Pass Royale, shifting the focus back to pure gameplay skill.
