2025 is shaping up to be a huge year for gaming, with a plethora of exciting titles slated for release across various platforms. This article highlights some of the most anticipated PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (and potentially Switch 2!), and PC games, categorized by month and including titles with currently unannounced release dates.
January 2025 promises a strong lineup of remasters, ports, and new releases. Highlights include the PC launches of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth and Marvel's Spider-Man 2, alongside remasters of Freedom Wars and Donkey Kong Country Returns. Other notable January releases include Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and several other titles across various platforms.
