The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973 marksman rifle. This guide details how to unlock this attachment and its impact on gameplay.
Unlocking the Full Auto Mod:
The Full Auto mod is earned through The Terminator event, running until February 20th. After this date, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system. To obtain it before the event ends:
- Collect Skulls: Earn Skulls by eliminating enemies in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies, or by opening loot caches in Warzone.
- 50 Skulls Required: You need a total of 50 Skulls to redeem the Full Auto mod.
- Fastest Methods: The most efficient methods include playing Zombies (aim for Round 6 with the Rampage Inducer, then quit and repeat) or playing Warzone Resurgence Solos, focusing on rapidly opening loot caches.
Full Auto Mod Gameplay Impact:
This conversion attachment transforms the AEK-973 from burst-fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It pairs well with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.
However, the Full Auto mod significantly reduces the AEK-973's damage and range. Despite this, the increased fire rate maintains a respectable time-to-kill. The mod doesn't affect handling or mobility; therefore, consider using attachments to improve these stats or utilize the weapon at medium-to-long range.
