Trickcal Re:Vive, the absurdist, turn-based, card-collecting RPG, is going global! This exciting news, initially highlighted by writer Anderson Han, was a major announcement at the Taipei Games Show by developer Bilibili Games.
Trickcal Re:Vive offers a unique twist on the genre. Players take on the unexpected role of a worldwide religion leader, recruiting over fifty apostles in a humorous, over-the-top world. The game blends cute character designs with references spanning from Cyberpunk 2077 and Grand Theft Auto to a multitude of quirky subplots.
The Taipei Games Show showcased the game's unique style with a branded Ferrari Itasha, along with a significant amount of merchandise. This, coupled with the global launch announcement, signals Bilibili and Epid Games' high expectations for the title's international success.
While a precise release date remains unannounced, a late 2025 or early 2026 launch seems plausible, though a mid-2025 release isn't entirely out of the question. The game is currently under development.
